A secret recipe passed down by a char siew supplier in Malaysia. This version of char siew is juicy, tender, dripping in a sticky, sweet and savory sauce. Paired with our signature chilli sauce, it can be enjoyed as a main dish with rice or as a finger food at gatherings. 

Ingredients: Pork Belly, Salt, Dark soya sauce, Sugar.

Gross weight: Approx. 500g

Cooking Instructions (Microwave)

1. Thaw the frozen char siew overnight in the fridge.

2. The char siew is separated into 2 halves. Take out one (make sure it is wrapped in baking paper) and heat up in the microwave for 2 mins.

3. Remove from the microwave, and it's ready to be sliced and serve. 

Cooking Instructions (Oven)

1. Thaw the frozen char siew overnight in the fridge.

2. Preheat your oven to 120 degree celsius at conventional setting for 10mins.

3. Remove char siew from packaging. It should look like the picture below:

4. Place the char siew that is already wrapped nicely with baking paper on the center section of the oven and bake for 15mins

5. Remove char siew from oven and preheat oven to 220 degrees for 10mins. 

6. Unwrapped the char siew to expose the top side as shown in the picture below:

7. Place the exposed char siew back in the oven and bake for 10mins.

8. Remove char siew onto chopping board and let it rest for at least 10mintues to lock in the juices before slicing. 

Storage and Food Safety Tip: Keep frozen. Consume within 3 days after thawing. Do not refreeze after thawing.

Was great, enjoyed it wasn't dry was sufficiently juicy. Fat wise, was acceptable
